EMOTION COACHING, STRENGTHENING CHILDREN’S RESILIENCE & MINDFUL AWARENESS.
As a Holistic Counsellor, Emotion Coach and mother of young children, I see many parents struggling (including myself) with their children’s overwhelming emotions and difficult behaviour. These struggles often cause much distress and frustration. This course is NOT about becoming a perfect parent that never yells, that never makes mistakes, that never gets it wrong. It’s NOT about judgment, blame or increasing parental guilt. It IS about understanding the latest childhood neuroscience research and strategies, connecting in to your own stress triggers and patterns and feeling empowered by this knowledge. Who is this course for: any parent wishing to reduce feelings of stress and frustration, increase understanding of children’s emotional development and increase their child’s emotional resilience. What will it cover: neuroscience of emotional resilience & childhood development, understanding your stress triggers in response to your child’s behaviour, parenting and relaxation techniques and strategies. AWAKEN MINDFULLY 6 WEEK COURSE
Awaken Mindfully is a 6 week course in relaxation, resilience and mindful awareness.
As a Holistic Counsellor I see many people struggling with chronic stress, anxiety, relationship issues, physical illness, anger and sadness. With so many obstacles preventing them from embracing the small moments of joy in life. Life is made of those moments, some joyful, some mundane, some frustrating or unpleasant. If we can increase our resilience to stress (our ability to cope and bounce back) and learn to harness the present moment we are able improve our quality of life. Who is this course for: any person wishing to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, increase health and wellbeing, or simply make positive change...s in ones life. What will it cover: neuroscience of emotional resilience, understanding stress and the body, mindfulness philosophy and practice, connection to personal patterns and behaviours, relaxation techniques and strategies. Mindful Couples Workshop
Do you feel like you are "spinning your wheels" in your relationship?
Does something need to shift or change? Or perhaps you are simply looking to deepen your intimacy or connection? Practicing Mindfulness together can: - Strengthen your relationship - Invite space to be present with one another - Increase intimacy - Diffuse arguments - Deepen connection In this two hour workshop you will: - explore and define your relationship values or intentions Practice: - Paying attention - Being accepting - Engaging with one another Utilising: - Breathing techniques - Guided meditation - Compassionate touch Please note: The group will be limited to 5 couples. Relationship issues and/or experiences will not be shared within the group. Each couple will engage only with one another. Follow up private couples counselling can be scheduled if required. Mindful Mum Support Group
Frustrated? Tired? Emotional? Lost? Anxious? Disconnected? or Overwhelmed?
Being a mother can be a rollercoaster of emotions, from elation to exhaustion. We all lose ourselves from time to time in the chaos of life- the Mindful Support Group is a space to reconnect to yourself and others.
The focus will be on recharging your internal emotional resources and awakening the Mindful Mum within. What to expect Group Discussion: Topic's may include: Self-care, Birth Stories (including understanding birth trauma), Post Natal Depression, parenting challenges, childhood development, relationships issues, emotional resilience and much more. Setting Personal Intention: What do I need right now? What do I hope to uncover or explore with myself? Guided Meditation/Mindfulness: A short guided visualisation; meditation experience not required. Group Process/Discussion: Various processes such as art therapy, mindfulness techniques, focusing (mind body connection), and emotion coaching may be utilised as required or requested. Sharing of personal experience is always the individuals choice. Confidentiality What is said in group stays in group: Group members and facilitator commit to keeping everything discussed in group private. While confidentiality cannot be guaranteed, group members agree to never reveal information about any group members. This includes identifying information, stories and reactions in group, including social media platforms. When: 2nd Wednesdays of the month
